The ICYM Kasaragod Vicariate is proud to announce the outstanding success of the ‘Green Mission 2025-26’. Initiated with the goal of planting over 10,000 saplings across all our associated parishes, the mission has not only met but exceeded many of its initial benchmarks.

Youth members from all 15 units actively participated in identifying suitable locations, preparing the soil, and nurturing the saplings. The 77% survival rate of the planted trees is a testament to the dedication and continuous follow-up by the unit members.

Rev. Fr. Vishal Monis expressed his deep appreciation for the youth’s commitment to environmental stewardship. ‘Caring for creation is caring for our future. You have shown immense responsibility,’ he stated during the felicitation ceremony.

We look forward to expanding this initiative in the coming years, integrating sustainable practices within our regular unit activities.
